Our B Com Chartered Accountant graduates consistently achieve above the national average pass rates in the Initial Test of Competence (ITC) examination. The programmes on offer in the School have been accredited by various international and national organisations, including the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).  This opens doors for our graduates on an international platform.  The Nelson Mandela University is only the fourth university in South Africa to have received the Institute of Internal Auditors’ (IIA) endorsement for the processing of internal audit qualifications which are aligned to international best practice requirements.

We are again reminded of the statement made by Nelson Mandela:

The power of education extends beyond the development of skills we need for economic success.  It can contribute to nation-building and reconciliation.

We invite you to join us by registering for a programme of your choice, and we will welcome you as an esteemed member of our extended family.
